For myself, I bought a new tripod. I needed a better assistant to help me with my self-portraits. I decided to see if having a tripod that would make the camera move into a vertical position and do classic portrait layout would help me. The answer is yes. See, my other tripod was a $8 garage sale special and though it served me well, it was lacking is any special features. These are just a few of the photos I took in my house with low lighting. I used my remote to control the lens. I took more pictures at a different ranges that came out lighter. These pictures were processed using Photoshop Elements 5.0 to get the levels lighter. The blue wall is one I have in my house and I was going to put pictures on it, but I see that it makes a great backdrop. I think it may remain empty for a long time. It is fun to experiment. But, I definitely need a photography class.
